Austine Okorodudu is an award-winning media strategist and youth development professional with over a decade of experience in communications, marketing, and social impact sectors across Nigeria and internationally.

Austine served as an on-air personality and Head of Marketing and Strategy at Trend 100.9fm, Nigeria’s number one youth-focused radio station. He anchored the flagship program “Trend Talk”, where he amplified marginalized voices and issues relevant to young people.
In this role, Austine combined creative programming with strategic thinking to ensure the station achieved financial sustainability and broke even. His leadership significantly contributed to the growth and impact of the station’s youth-focused content.
Austine is also the founder of Idreality Media and Communications, a strategic media and PR firm. The organization provides innovative solutions in branding, content creation, and digital strategy for institutions and organizations seeking meaningful engagement.
Academically, Austine holds a master’s degree in Integrated Media Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Delta State University. He also earned a certificate in Civic Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
He is a certified John C. Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker, specializing in leadership development. In addition, he holds a certificate in Digital Strategy and Implementation from the BBC. His passion for youth empowerment is deeply personal, rooted in early experiences of watching peers struggle due to lack of access and opportunity.
His impactful work has earned him numerous honors, including the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, the Senate President’s Plaque (2019) for national development, and the National Youth Service Corps Award (2013). As the pioneer coordinator of the YALI Delta Face2Face Hub, he built a vibrant network of changemakers and was named a YALI Network Influencer in 2019.
Austine frequently shares his expertise at leadership events and trainings across Nigeria and internationally. He has served as a judge at the National Senior School Debate Competition and organized TEDx events. He also led the major national conversation, “Nigeria at 60: Rethinking the Solution.”
He is affiliated with key professional bodies, including the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and Rotary International. Through all his platforms, Austine remains committed to youth development, media literacy, and economic empowerment as vital tools for sustainable community transformation.
