Franca David Atang Thompson

Head of Programs

Franca A. Onodje is a youth development and management consultant, creative writer, and passionate advocate for gender equity and healing. With a rich background in volunteerism,

public speaking, and program leadership, Franca brings deep compassion and strategic insight to her role at IRYEF. She is the author of The Golden Rose: Finding Healing and Wholeness, the first book in The Broken Woman Series, which offers powerful narratives of recovery from abuse, trauma, and gender-based violence—blending fiction with lived experiences to inspire emotional healing and hope.

As the founder founder of L’Hadassah Development Initiative (LHDI), a nonprofit focused on female empowerment and community transformation, Franca has led numerous seminars, workshops, and conferences that have impacted lives across Nigeria. At IRYEF, she oversees the design and execution of high-impact youth programs, channeling her experience and storytelling gift to promote wholeness, purpose, and transformation among the next generation of leaders

Ohwobeno Jacqueline Marshal-Umukoro

Operations Manager

Ohwobeno Jacqueline Marshal-Umukoro is a pharmacologist with a Master’s in Public Health and a PhD candidate in Health Systems Management. With over nine years of academic experience and five years leading event-based initiatives, she brings a unique blend of health expertise, strategic planning, and community engagement to IRYEF’s operational leadership. Jacqueline is passionate about strengthening healthcare systems and expanding access to quality education—especially for underserved communities. Her work at IRYEF focuses on translating health research and youth development strategies into practical programs that improve lives. She has successfully coordinated outreach events, stakeholder forums, and capacity-building efforts that align with IRYEF’s vision of nurturing socially conscious, empowered youth.

Emmanuel Chinonso Ezeukwu

Finance and Administration Officer

Emmanuel Chinonso Ezeukwu is a dedicated media and operations professional with a strong background in strategic management and organizational efficiency. As Operations Manager at Ideals and Reality Media, he has successfully led initiatives that strengthen media operations and community outreach. At IRYEF, Emmanuel brings his operational expertise and financial acumen to his role as Finance and Administration Officer, ensuring the organization’s activities are both impactful and sustainably managed.

A passionate advocate for integrity, faith, and purpose-driven work, Emmanuel is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Management, combining academic advancement with hands-on leadership. His commitment to excellence supports IRYEF’s mission of empowering young people and driving positive societal change.

Dr. Lucky Enakirerhi

Grants and Budget Officer

 Dr. Lucky Enakirerhi is an accomplished accountant and educator with a deep commitment to youth development, civic engagement, and good governance. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Accounting from Delta State University, a Master’s degree (with Distinction) in Accounting and Financial Management from Coventry University (UK), and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt. As a Senior Lecturer at Dennis Osadebay University and Acting Dean of Students’ Affairs, Lucky has mentored countless young Nigerians, equipping them with skills for academic and civic success.

 

At IRYEF, he brings his extensive experience in financial oversight, policy formulation, and mentorship to bear in his role as Grants and Budget Officer, ensuring accountability and strategic use of resources to empower youth across Nigeria. He is also the Lead Consultant at Dominion Gas and a published scholar in both national and international journals. Driven by a vision for transformative change, Dr. Enakirerhi believes in nurturing a new generation of leaders who will redefine Nigeria’s educational and political systems.

Uche Favour Okonkwo

HR & Logistics Officer

Uche Favour Okonkwo is a passionate social worker, teens coach, and public speaker with extensive experience in youth empowerment, health communication, and values-based education. She brings to IRYEF a wealth of leadership experience as Managing Partner at Save the Youth Empowerment Foundation (SAYEF), and previously served as a UNICEF Master Trainer on National Reproductive Health, HIV Prevention, and Care projects in NYSC camps. Uche has also volunteered with Family Health International (FHI), contributing to impactful health outreach programs.

An MSc holder in Mass Communication with a focus on Health Communication, Uche also holds postgraduate diplomas in both Mass Communication and Education. She is the author of Mum, Dad… Teach Me Sex: Sex Education a Must in Every Home and has led value reorientation campaigns in secondary schools. At IRYEF, Uche plays a vital role in coordinating human resources and logistics, while continuing to champion youth empowerment and ethical leadership through education and advocacy.

Wisdom Ben Udi

Youth Programs Lead

Wisdom Ben Udi is a dynamic youth advocate, entrepreneur, and creative leader whose journey with IRYEF began as a participant in the inaugural class of the “I Need to Know TeenzSummit.” Today, he gives back to the foundation that helped shape his path, leading youth programs that inspire, empower, and transform the next generation.

A passionate storyteller and motivator, Wisdom combines his love for entrepreneurship and creativity to engage young minds. He previously participated in Nigerian Idol and now runs Flexor Shoe Company, a growing brand that reflects his drive for innovation and self empowerment. At IRYEF, he leverages his personal story and entrepreneurial spirit to mentor teens, instilling in them the courage to dream, create, and lead.

Prince Richards Olabode

Volunteer Coordinator

Prince Richards Olabode is a passionate youth advocate and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator at IRYEF, where he leads efforts to mobilize and mentor volunteers committed to driving community impact. Known for his energy, empathy, and ability to connect with young people, he ensures IRYEF’s programs are powered by purpose-driven individuals who share in the vision of youth empowerment.

Outside his work, Prince Richards is a husband, father, and music enthusiast. When he’s not engaging with youth or spending time with his family, you’ll likely find him playing soulful melodies on his saxophone—his favorite form of creative expression and relaxation.
